About Night Bazaar & Riverside

A commercial district along the Ping River suited to shoppers and evening market walkers.

The streets east of the moat are dominated by evening vendor stalls and large hotels. You can walk to the Old City in about 15 minutes, but traffic along the river roads gets heavy at dusk. Pick this area for easy access to evening markets, but skip it if you prefer quiet lanes.

Getting there
Walk to the Old City along Tha Phae Road, or take a red songthaew.
Watch out for
Heavy evening traffic and crowds around the market stalls.
